When we are not able to have a large lateral footprint, we are forced to build upwards. In this case, the client wanted to hold in his shoreline above his dock, but did not have the six feet of lateral distance required for a rip rap revetment. So, we constructed a reinforced wooden bulkhead system. In a later phase, the customer had the wood coated in stucco for visual appeal. He is thrilled with the end result and his shoreline is secure.
